Ederson moves to Fenerbahce: Manchester City confirms the transfer of the goalkeeper.
According to The Sun: The Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson has concluded eight years at Manchester City and signed a contract with Fenerbahce for 11 million pounds.
After moving from Benfica in the summer of 2017, he became the team's first-choice goalkeeper under Pep Guardiola.

Ederson has been a key player during Manchester City's successes, winning six Premier League titles and the treble two years ago.
However, last summer he experienced dissatisfaction due to interest from Saudi Arabia, prompting his family to consider a move. Guardiola convinced him to stay, but this summer Galatasaray tried to acquire Ederson, though the club was unable to reach an agreement with Manchester City.
Ultimately, Fenerbahce secured the goalkeeper at the last moment of the transfer window, and the 32-year-old was greeted by thousands of fans in Istanbul.
In the meantime, Guardiola signed Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for 26 million pounds, which allowed for Ederson's departure.
Ederson's comments on leaving
In his official statement, Ederson commented on his departure:
“I leave Manchester City incredibly proud of what we achieved together, and it has been an honor to wear this shirt so many times.”
“Under Pep, we dominated the Premier League and conquered Europe. It was amazing.”
“I would like to thank Pep and goalkeeping coach Xabier Mancisidor for making me the best goalkeeper and teaching me so much about the game. Thank you to my teammates.”
“The desire to win every game was a joy and made me enjoy every day of training and in the locker room.”
“Fans, thank you for making me feel at home in the city so far from my own, and for the support throughout this wonderful time for me and my family.”
“I arrived in Manchester eight years ago with great hopes, but I could not have predicted such a wonderful time together.”
“Playing for City has been the most special time of my life, and I will always be a fan of this special club.”
“I leave with my wife and children but leave a big family here, Citizens. Once Blue, always Blue.”
Statement from Manchester City's Director of Football
Manchester City's Director of Football, Hugo Vieira, stated:
“Ederson has been an incredible member of Manchester City. The fact that no goalkeeper has ever won more Premier League titles speaks to his quality and consistency in a City shirt.”
“He has been a pivotal figure in all our successes in recent years, and his ability and bravery have been key to City playing that beautiful football we all love.”
“He has truly cemented his place in Manchester City's history, and we all wish him well in the next stage of his career.”
“He leaves us knowing he will always be welcome at this club.”
When joining City, Ederson cost 35 million pounds from Benfica and became the second most expensive goalkeeper in the world at that time. During his time at the club, he made 372 appearances and recorded 122 clean sheets, becoming the most decorated goalkeeper in Premier League history.

The transfer window in the Premier League closed at 7:00 PM on Monday, but in Turkey, it will remain open until September 12, and in Saudi Arabia until September 23.
Ederson's move to Fenerbahce marks an important milestone in the career of a goalkeeper who significantly impacted Manchester City's successes. His decision to leave the club where he spent the best years of his career highlights the dynamics of the transfer market and the influence of new challenges on players.
Leaving Manchester City, Ederson is leaving behind not only trophies but also memories of successes and victories. His words truly reflect how he cherishes the time spent at the club, and perhaps his new path at Fenerbahce will open new horizons for further growth.
