Manchester United fans demand the dismissal of Amorim due to his attitude towards Mainoo.
Manchester United fans are calling for the sacking of Ruben Amorim after he made Kobbie Mainoo 'the fourth choice' in midfield.
According to The Sun: The Red Devils are still waiting for their first win of the season after a 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Amorim's team, which lost in the opening match of the season to Arsenal, took the lead thanks to an own goal by Rodrigo Muniz in the second half.
However, they were equalized when Emile Smith Rowe scored after coming off the bench.
Seeing that his team was struggling in midfield, Amorim ended up winning his partnership in the starting lineup with Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, replacing the latter with Manuel Ugarte.
However, England international Mainoo found himself on the bench as Amorim decided not to give him a single minute.
This infuriated United fans, who chose their coach for pushing Mainoo out of the team.
Some even called for Amorim's dismissal after he spent £200 million on new forwards and no United player scored a goal in the club's first two matches.
Others added: 'Just sack Amorim, he has a year to prove his worth and has done nothing. No progress, no improvements, no clear plan. Absolutely nothing to justify his staying.'
The ultimatum from Manchester United fans has proven to be extremely demanding for head coach Ruben Amorim. Supporters are reacting to his decisions regarding the team lineup and spending on squad renewal, calling for decisive action and changes in playing strategy.
