According to The Sun: Manchester United player Antony is on the brink of a return to Real Betis, but the 'Red Devils' will not get money for him for the next year.
As reported by SunSport, the 25-year-old Antony is moving back to Spain after a loan at Betis last season.
GettyManchester United hoped to sell the Brazilian winger on a permanent basis, but have already begun active negotiations with Betis regarding a new loan contract.
The Conference League finalists plan to pay £3 million for Antony's return to La Liga.
However, his return to Old Trafford will not happen before 2026.
Betis intends to buy the player for £33 million, as United insisted that the deal include a mandatory buy option, rejecting a simple loan despite pressure from Betis.
While the club won't get the full amount at once, the first 'Bomb Squad' player Ruben Amorim is likely to be included in the deal for a total of £36 million.
