Manchester United has lowered the price for Mainu to £45 million: who is interested in the player.

According to The Sun: The Manchester United team has reduced the price on Kobbi Mainu ahead of the transfer window closure.
The young midfielder wishes to change his surroundings and receive more playing time.
Kobbi Mainu could be sold before the transfer window closes Alamy AlamyKobbi Mainu, 20 years old, was previously valued at £70 million when an offer from Chelsea came in January.
The publication Athletic reports that the 'Red Devils' are ready to consider a much lower offer.
It is believed that the club will accept a sum of approximately £45 million.
This is being done to finalize a deal before the transfer window closes on September 1 at 19:00.
The reduction of Mainu's status in the club has come as a surprise to his representatives.
It is noted that manager Ruben Amorim does not communicate enough with Mainu.
It is said that Amorim has urged his players to 'train hard and fight for their places', but has not provided 'specific instructions'.
This has resulted in Casemiro overtaking Mainu in the hierarchy, although he was initially considered a backup player.
It is also known that Mainu is more inclined to stay in the Premier League rather than move to a domestic rival.
The England international is considering options in the Bundesliga, having received an offer from the champions Bayern Munich.
This deal could reunite him with England national team captain Harry Kane.
Additionally, Real Madrid is also monitoring Mainu's situation at Old Trafford.
Among the interest in the player, there are also eight clubs.
Currently, Mainu has not yet taken the field this season, remaining on the bench during matches against Arsenal and Fulham.
He first significantly made it into Manchester United's squad in the 2023/24 season and has since played 72 matches for the team, scoring seven goals, including the decisive one in the FA Cup final in 2024.
