Manchester United strengthens its academy: new head initiates major reforms.
Development of youth facilities at Manchester United
According to The Sun: MANCHESTER UNITED is ramping up efforts on new youth structures, which pleases the new academy head, Steven Torpey. He was appointed in August to manage all aspects of the club's development system after his predecessor, Nick Cox, became the technical director of Everton.
During Cox's nine years at Carrington, the club observed significant progress in developing young talents. Torpey expressed hope for the continuation of this course, emphasizing the importance of creating modern conditions for training young footballers.
“I look forward to this opportunity,” Torpey stated.
The club aims not only to improve its youth programs but also to provide players with all the necessary resources for their development at the professional level.
Investing in youth academies reflects Manchester United's strategic approach to shaping future football stars. Creating new conditions will help not only to enhance the training level of young players but also to strengthen the bond between the academy and the first team, which could lead to new successes in the future.
