Mariah Carey revealed details of her breakup with her boyfriend in her new album: what the star sings about.

According to The Sun: MARIAH CAREY released a new album titled Here For It All, which came out today for the first time in seven years.

However, there is one person who apparently is not waiting for new material. The singer seems to hint at her ex-dancer Bryan Tanaka in the new tracks.

The couple met during the filming of the reality show Mariah’s World in 2016, but their relationship ended in 2023 when Bryan announced a 'peaceful separation.'

However, Mariah's new compositions reveal a completely different picture.

In the song I Won’t Allow It, she sings:

“Wanted the fame, used my name. But you thought you could do that.”

She adds:

“What you gonna do when you’re feeling low? Cos I don’t love you any more. No more.”

If there were any doubts that she is talking about Bryan, Mariah adds:

“See you walking by with your dirty moustache.”

Brutal Lines

To criticize him even more in the song Confetti And Champagne, she sings:

“I don’t need no closure over you, as I didn’t lose.”

She further emphasizes:

“I bet you thought it hit me deep, took me about a week.”

“It’s a very eclectic mix of music and the reason I named it Here For It All is because my favourite song on the album is called Here For It All.”
