O'Neill may leave Celtic as early as this week: what happened.
MARTIN O'NEILL may leave his position as manager of Celtic
According to The Sun: MARTIN O'NEILL has admitted that he does not rule out the possibility of leaving his post as Celtic's manager as early as this week. He took on the role following an impressive return to Parkhead, becoming the interim manager after Brendan Rodgers' departure.
Rodgers ended his second stint as the club's manager on Monday, as the 'Hoops' trailed the leaders by 8 points.
“I am fully aware of the situation, and I probably don’t have much time,” O'Neill confessed.
O'Neill, who has already started working at the club, hopes to improve the team's results.
In the current situation, it is important how quickly the new manager can adapt to the challenges facing the team. The successes or failures of the upcoming matches could significantly impact O'Neill's future at Celtic and the club's further plans for the season.
