Some of the injured are currently in hospitals.
Consequences of the attack
The attack led to severe destruction in seven districts of the city. Houses were destroyed in the Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, and Solomianskyi districts.
The injured and their conditions
From the scene, next to the damaged apartment building in the Solomianskyi district, a TSN correspondent is working.
“A Russian drone hit right in front of the house, so the lower floors suffered the most. Actually, people here were not hurt. There is an underground parking lot and a basement, and this saved people's lives. There are technicians, utility workers, and builders working here. There are about a dozen wrecked cars standing here. Communications have been restored in the building, and people continue to live here,” she says.
Residents note that they only use the rooms that survived, and do not enter the damaged ones.
Recovery after the attack
Currently, people are actively working on eliminating the consequences of the attack.
This attack has become yet another painful blow for the capital, which is already facing numerous challenges due to the war. It is important for the victims to receive the necessary medical assistance, and for the destroyed houses to be urgently restored. The city continues to fight for its recovery, and residents show resilience and unity in these difficult times.
