Mass power outage in Kharkiv: what is happening with the energy grid

According to inkorr.com: On the evening of November 8, a large-scale power outage occurred in all areas of Kharkiv. Darkness engulfed the streets as the voltage in the power grid dropped, local media report.

In some parts of the city, residents noticed strong flickering of remaining light sources. Additionally, some areas have reported a lack of water supply. Emergency services are currently working hard to resolve these issues.

The city authorities have not yet commented on the situation. Kharkiv residents are asked to call the emergency number 1562 in case of urgent problems, as telephone networks may be overloaded.

Aerial strike and power outage

Recall that as a result of the enemy airstrike in the Kharkiv region, eight people were injured. On November 7, Russian troops attacked, leading to the destruction of a gas station and damage to vehicles; all the injured were hospitalized.

There is also information that on November 9, power outages are planned in most regions of Ukraine, which foresees both an increase in the volume and duration of the outages.

Thus, due to the low voltage in the power grid in Kharkiv and other areas, there are problems with electricity and water supply. Emergency services continue to work to eliminate these difficulties, and local authorities urge residents to be cautious and follow safe practices in this situation.
