Arsenal appoints a guard for 15-year-old prodigy: how they protect Douman.
Special measures for Max Douman
According to The Sun: Arsenal Football Club is taking special measures to protect 15-year-old winger Max Douman both on and off the field.
Last season, Douman gained popularity due to his bright performances in the Gunners' junior team, where he scored 19 goals and provided five assists.
PADouman made his Premier League debut during the Gunners' 5-0 victory over Leeds last weekend, showcasing his enormous potential.
The club management is doing everything possible to support Douman on his path to realizing his talents. His rapid rise to fame has prompted the club to hire a guard to prevent overly enthusiastic fans from getting too close to him.
The guard is always accompanying Douman and was spotted at the edge of the field during the season's opening match against Manchester United.
Safety rules and preparation
According to safety rules in the Premier League and at the club, Douman has to change separately from his teammates before training and matches. However, after these procedures, he can return to the locker room for listening to Mikel Arteta's team instructions.
Thanks to his tricks in the second half of the match against Leeds, Douman earned a penalty, which was converted by the Gunners' new striker Viktor Gyökeres, marking his second goal of the game.

“He is so confident that he can go out on the pitch at 15 years old and deliver, which I have never seen in my life.”
Mikel Arteta about Max Douman
“And for us, it brings joy, emotion, and makes our job so wonderful.”
On Sunday, Douman and his teammates return to play, heading to Anfield for a match against Liverpool, which will be an important fixture in the title race.
These measures taken by the club demonstrate a serious approach to developing young talent. A successful football career depends not only on a player's skills and efforts on the field but also on the support provided to him during this crucial period of his life. That is why ARSENAL is doing everything possible to ensure Max Douman feels safe and can focus on his game.
