The Ministry of Defense clarified the procedure for joining the military service under the 'Contract 18-24' program.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explains the procedure for joining the military service under the 'Contract 18-24' project. Applications can be submitted to recruiting centers or military units in both paper and electronic form through the conscription cabinet or a special platform.
The application must include personal data, military unit and position, medical examination data, and contact information.
After submitting the application, the candidate will be contacted for an interview. The decision on acceptance is made within three working days.
If the decision is positive, necessary procedures are carried out with the candidate, and a list of documents for preparing the personal file is provided.
After signing the contract, the candidate receives the first part of the monetary reward in the amount of 200,000 hryvnias. After completing training, the candidate starts service and receives the second part of the reward (300,000 hryvnias). Upon completion of the contract, the candidate receives the last part of the reward (500,000 hryvnias) and has the right to subsidized mortgage and free travel abroad.
To obtain a contract, participation in combat operations is required for six months. Candidates are offered to choose one of six brigades.
