Ministry of Defense tests summons with QR code: what will change with their introduction.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is implementing a new format of summons with a QR code to verify the validity of the document. Using the Reserve+ app, one will be able to scan this code and obtain information about the summons, including validity, date and document number, issuer of the summons, signer of the document, and other details.
As of May 16, Decree No. 560 is in effect, which defines three types of summons: a summons for personal data clarification, a summons for a medical commission, and a combat summons for conscription into military service. Previously, the Ministry of Defense also developed a draft law that allows conscripts to register for military service online using electronic identification. The execution of these processes will facilitate centralized printing of summonses at the government's expense.
