According to the case, the mayor failed to declare 300,000 hryvnias held in his bank accounts. Furthermore, the declaration omitted his wife's financial liabilities, which amount to 5 million hryvnias. The indictment has now been formally submitted to the court.
The pre-trial investigation concluded in 2023. If found guilty, the mayor could face a sentence of up to two years of restricted liberty.
