After this shocking attack, Stuart sustained seven injuries, and the fight ended only after the intervention of security and other wrestlers.
Douglas Malo, one of those who participated in stopping the fight, described the incident:
”I heard something was wrong and perhaps I needed to check the situation to find out if something serious was happening.”
The victim began to choke on his own blood and teeth.
Malo added: “I talked to a person with a radio and went back to the ring. I saw the first punch and the second. I regret that I just didn’t jump in to help.”
“I’m watching over a person I care about, he’s a veteran, and I’m the only one who has to keep an eye on this.”
Stuart Smith also became a victim of Jackson's aggression while attempting to stop the fight.
“I’m not even fighting or acting aggressively, and you still hit me when we’re trying to stop this. What kind of a jerk are you?”
The victim's brother, Andrew, shared alarming news about Smith's health condition:
“Stuart is currently resting due to severe head injuries. He is conscious and can talk, but he is facing a tough rehabilitation.”
“His wife created a GoFundMe page for anyone who wishes to help.”
As of today, over $70,000 has been raised on the GoFundMe page to support his recovery.
