Ukrainians honor the memory of war victims
Vasyl Lohanyak, a resident of Drohobych and defender of Ukraine, was killed on October 28, 2024, during shelling in the settlement of Rozdolne in the Donetsk region. His life was cut short during a combat mission. Vasyl was born on January 6, 1993, and lived in Drohobych. He was the commander of the radar station of the radar reconnaissance platoon of the radar reconnaissance battery of the artillery reconnaissance division of the "Black Forest" brigade.
Vasyl was buried at the Alley of Glory in Drohobych. He remains in the memory of his relatives - father, wife, son, and sister. The Ukrainian command also honored the fallen warrior and observed a moment of silence. All Ukrainians light candles of memory to honor the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. We remember all the warriors and civilians who died in the struggle for Ukraine's freedom.
