Fenerbahce offers €10 million for Zinchenko: when to expect the transfer.
The president of Fenerbahce wants to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal
The president of the Turkish club 'Fenerbahce' intends to strengthen the squad with Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal.
Negotiations are already underway, and the offer amounts to about 10 million euros for a full transfer, reported journalist Ekrem Konur on
social media X.
Information about Zinchenko's transfer
The initiator of the move was Fenerbahce's head coach Jose Mourinho. A significant role in the negotiations was played by the club's sports director Devin Ozek, who flew to London to discuss the details.
The parties are close to a final agreement, and an announcement about the transfer is expected in the coming days. However, the final decision remains with Oleksandr Zinchenko himself.
The main motive for the move is the player's desire to get more playing time. In 'Fenerbahce', he may be considered as a central midfielder - a position he played for the national team, rather than only on the defensive flanks.
It should be noted that the Turkish club may sign another player from the 'blue-yellow' team. The team coached by Jose Mourinho has made an offer to Madrid's 'Real' regarding the transfer of Andriy Lunin.
A representative of Fenerbahce is negotiating with Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal regarding a possible transfer for about 10 million euros. The coaching staff of the Turkish club believes that the Ukrainian defender will strengthen the team and receive more playing time. An agreement is expected to be concluded soon.Read also
