Ukraine will be able to import an additional 400 MW of electricity from Europe
Starting from December 1, Ukraine will be able to import an additional 400 MW of electricity from Europe, reports the press service of NEC 'Ukrenergo'. The maximum import capacity has increased from 1700 MW to 2100 MW.
Representatives of NEC 'Ukrenergo' explained that this decision was made after two massive missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian energy system. Involving imported electricity at a level of 60% of consumption will help protect industrial consumers and businesses from hourly blackouts.
It is worth noting that the government has already made a decision regarding winter tariffs.
