In the Oskil territorial community of the Izyum district in the Kharkiv region, a massive forest fire is spreading. As a result of the fire, an area of approximately 1200 hectares of forest has been affected. The situation is complicated by the spread of the fire to the village of Studenok. For safety reasons, the authorities are evacuating local residents. Currently, more than 200 people have been evacuated. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synyehubov.

“The fire has spread to the village of Studenok. We are evacuating residents. The number of evacuees at the moment is more than 200 people. Rescue services are working at the site in an enhanced mode, the State Emergency Service, police, district and local administrations, and structural units of the civil protection of the Regional State Administration,” the statement reads.

Due to the massive attack in Kharkiv, the sports complex “Palace of Sports” was destroyed. According to preliminary data, the enemy struck the building of the complex four times.
