An accident occurred in the village of Makharyntsi within the Koziatyn territorial community, resulting in one death and the driver being hospitalized. According to preliminary investigation information, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz lost control and crashed into a tree. As a result, one of the passengers died, and the driver was taken to the hospital where blood samples were collected for testing. The vehicle is under arrest. A criminal proceeding has been initiated for violating traffic safety rules, which could lead to up to 8 years of imprisonment.

It is also worth noting that another accident occurred in the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district, where a Toyota car collided with a Renault truck. No one was injured in this accident.
