The price of electricity in Ukraine may increase to 6.5 UAH per kWh due to requirements related to European integration.
This was reported by MP Bohdan Kitsak during a speech in the program Evening.LIVE.
According to him, the increase in tariffs is one of Ukraine's obligations to creditors with the aim of normalizing prices in accordance with the European level.
"It is clear that there is currently a big difference in what the Ukrainian consumer pays compared to the European one, even taking into account wage and pension provision differences", Kіtsak emphasized.
The deputy noted that such an increase will last for a long Time. However, he emphasized that it is possible only with the condition of constant economic support for Ukraine or the commencement of Russian reparations payments.
