"Naftogaz of Ukraine" gives advice on preparing for the heating season

The gas supply company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" on September 18, 2024, urged citizens to prepare in advance for the heating season to ensure comfort and savings. The company provided several recommendations:

• Insulate windows and doors to prevent heat loss.
• Check the electricity and service the boiler by a specialist.
• Optimize the space around the radiators for better heat distribution.
• Check additional heat sources: heaters, underfloor heating, air conditioners.
• Insulate common areas together with neighbors.

"Naftogaz" also advises installing thermostats on the radiators to control the temperature in each room.

Oleksiy Chernyshov's speech at the Verkhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine

On the same day, the head of the Naftogaz Group, Oleksiy Chernyshov, spoke at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine on Energy and Housing and Communal Services. He presented the company's work results and priority tasks.

Chernyshov emphasized the importance of ensuring steady sector performance during the heating season. "Gas remains almost the only reliable energy source in wartime. This winter will be tough, but every Ukrainian should have heat," he said.

According to Chernyshov, fuel rates will not change, and the heating season will start on Time. He also reported positive gas production dynamics by the Group's enterprises, which exceed the operational plan by 2%.

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Andriy Gerus, noted the importance of "Naftogaz's" work in preparing for the heating season and expressed readiness for effective cooperation with the company.
