Alexej Michailovitsch Tschernischow - Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Ukraine, former Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, former Governor of Kyiv Oblast.

Place of birth. Education. Born on September 4, 1977, in Kharkiv. From 1994 to 1999, he studied at the Kharkiv Humanitarian University of the Ukrainian People's Academy in the field of 'Business Administration'. From 1996 to 2002, he studied law at the National Law University of Yaroslav the Wise.

In 1999, he completed a professional course according to the standards of the Project Management Institute in Pennsylvania, USA.

Business. In 1998, Alexej Tschernischow worked in the innovative IT sector at Telesens, a company that developed system software products for the telecommunications industry as a subsidiary of the German 'Telesens AG' (Cologne, Germany). In 2002, he, together with partners, acquired the Ukrainian part of the group, which became an independent company.

In 2004, Tschernischow joined the AVEK group as Vice President for Development, and from November 2005 served as President of the AVEK group. From 2008 to 2013, he was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the AVEK group.

In 2012, he founded the investment and development company Eastgate Development.

In 2014, Tschernischow founded the investment company VI2 Partners. The company's offices operate in Kyiv and Vienna.

In 2017, Alexej Tschernischow's company, VI2 Partners, acquired a stake in the Fozzey supermarket chain from the French operator Auchan Group.

Civic Activity. In 2014, Alexej Tschernischow founded the Kyiv-Vision Foundation - an organization that attracts investments to the country, supports cultural projects, popularizes Ukraine in Europe, and reveals the potential of contemporary Ukrainian art.

In November 2017, Alexej Tschernischow became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Real Estate Club URE Club - a professional community that unites local and international experts and practitioners in the Ukrainian real estate market and promotes investments.

In 2018, on the initiative and with the support of Alexej Tschernischow, the 'School for the Management of Commercial Real Estate' was established.

Political Career. On October 20, 2019, the Cabinet of Ukraine approved Alexej Tschernischow's candidacy for Governor of Kyiv Oblast. The decree for the appointment was signed by the President of Ukraine on October 28, 2019.

On March 4, 2020, the Parliament approved the new composition of the cabinet , Alexej Tschernischow was appointed Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine .

His wife declared 19.4 thousand Hryvnias in the bank, 21 thousand euros, and 115 thousand dollars in cash.
