Yaroslav Boruta expressed outrage at Kyiv stars after the funeral of Stepan Higa.
According to ТСН: People's Artist of Ukraine, composer Yaroslav Boruta, expressed his outrage after the funeral of the singer Stepan Higa, sharply criticizing the behavior of Kyiv stars.
Boruta noted that those who truly valued and loved Stepan Higa were present at his farewell. He emphasized that, although some artists could not come for objective reasons, their comments about the singer's death and the publication of old photos with him are outrageous. The composer believes it is an attempt at 'publicity at the family’s grief' of Higa.
'Everything would have gone unnoticed if those who did not come to Lviv had not started posting old photos with Stepan and writing all kinds of nonsense under them, thereby doing publicity at the grief of his family. This is especially true for the capital's 'stars', ' the composer was outraged.'
Yaroslav Boruta also added that true friends of Stepan Higa were in Lviv on December 14-15 to bid him farewell. According to him, those who did not come have no right to comment on the singer's death or write about it online.
'I do not believe that you were all so busy that you could not find time to come to say goodbye. For example, Mykhailo Hrytskan canceled his concert and saw the maestro off on his last journey. You have no moral or any other right to write anything about this person at all! You are not his friends and never were, because true friends were in Lviv on December 14 and 15!' Boruta concluded.
It should be noted that Stepan Higa passed away on December 12 in Lviv at the hospital, where he had been since mid-November. The farewell to the musician took place on December 14 and 15. After the funeral, the artist's family made an important statement.
The death of Stepan Higa was a great loss for Ukrainian music. His work left a mark in the hearts of many fans, and the reactions of colleagues from show business indicate how important it is for artists to support each other in difficult times. Yaroslav Boruta's outrage emphasizes that true friendship and support in grief require more than just public comments and old photos.
