Scientists have found a way to slow down aging.
Travel can slow down the aging process and have a positive impact on human health. Research author Fanli Hu believes that physical activity, social interaction, and positive emotions received from travel can slow aging.
The researchers conducted a study titled "The Principle of Increasing Entropy: A New View on the Impact of Tourism on Human Health." They found that entropy, which determines the level of chaos and decay in the Universe, can change under the influence of tourism. Positive travel experiences lower entropy levels and improve health, while negative experiences accelerate its growth and harm health.
"Aging as a process is irreversible. Although it cannot be stopped, it can be slowed down. Positive travel experiences improve people’s physical and mental health through new environments, physical activity, social interaction, and positive emotions. Such potential benefits have been noticed in wellness tourism and yoga tourism," said research author Fanli Hu.
Tourism, viewed through the lens of entropy, contributes to health improvement. The positive experiences a person gains during travel help maintain the body in a state of low entropy.
Also, tourism activates the stress response and accelerates metabolism, having a positive effect on metabolic activity and self-organization of the body. Accordingly, this helps to strengthen the immune system and tissue regeneration.
The Mediterranean coast suffers from extreme heat and water shortages. Tourists are even advised to refrain from visiting there.
There are four amazing destinations in Spain that will be enchanting and cool alternatives to the Mediterranean.
