Ukrainians actively travel abroad for vacation despite the war
While the war continues in Ukraine, many Ukrainians are leaving their homes. However, there are also many citizens who are traveling abroad for vacation. In August alone, Ukrainians crossed the border 100,000 times more. In other words, significantly more citizens were leaving the country than returning. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.
In the last month alone, almost 4 million people crossed the border. Of these, 86% were Ukrainians. Women, children, and the elderly predominated. Men were significantly fewer.
