Ksenia Korzhova Supports the War
The Russian figure skater Ksenia Korzhova, recognized as a neutral athlete by the International Skating Union (ISU), liked posts supporting the war. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing the Base of Ukrainian Sports.
It is noted that Korzhova liked four posts on Instagram supporting the Russian aggression by the trusted person of dictator Vladimir Putin, gymnast Nikita Nagornyy.
Nagornyy is under sanctions from Ukraine, Canada, the USA, the UK, and the European Union for supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine. Korzhova, in particular, liked posts featuring Putin, Russian military personnel, and the Russian military organization 'Yunarmiya.'
It is also noted that two other neutral athletes, Anna Urazova and Oleksandra Sayutina, also liked posts supporting the war.
A Similar Case with Tennis Player Polina Kudermetova
Earlier, the 'neutral' Russian tennis player Polina Kudermetova also provoked mockery by posting a symbol of aggression against Ukraine - the Georgiev ribbon, which has long been one of the symbols of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The weightlifter Vladislav Yefimov was eliminated by Ukraine's defenders. Yefimov had a 'candidate for master of sports' rank in weightlifting and was a winner of numerous competitions. Despite recent detentions by Russian police, a fateful confrontation with serious consequences occurred on May 9.
