World Tour and New Album

Singer and guitarist James Morrison (41) is currently on a world tour Fight Another Day, which recently kicked off in the UK.

He is promoting his new album of the same name, which will be released on October 3rd.

This poignant ballad, created in collaboration with Nelly Furtado, became a hallmark in James's career, achieving huge success.

Nearly two decades later, in Manchester, James invited his daughter Elsie on stage to perform a part of the song.

The duet became a genuine hit on social media, receiving numerous positive reviews.

Elsie, the sweet blonde girl, sang confidently, holding the microphone and often closing her eyes during emotional lines.

She was dressed in a simple black mini dress and blazer, which harmonized with her father's black jacket.

James's fans were impressed by her vocals, noting that she is following in her father's footsteps.

“Like father, like daughter. Wonderful duet!”

Other users agreed, writing comments like: “What an amazing duet, proud of such a talented daughter” and “Elsie is impressive, her voice is incredible.”

Repeat Performances

This is not the first time James has brought Elsie on stage to perform this popular song. Fans had already praised her during his performance in Glasgow.

“She was magical in Glasgow last night. We really enjoyed the concert.”

Audience members also noted that her mother, who passed away, would likely have been proud of her at that moment.

It is worth mentioning that last year Elsie's mother, Jill Catchpole (45), was found dead in their home in Whitminster, Gloucestershire.

James and Jill met when James was 17, before he became famous.

She was six years older than him, and after the breakup with her boyfriend, a relationship sparked between them.

The couple got engaged in 2012 and were together for nearly two decades, united by their shared love of music.

In one of the interviews, James shared that Jill was not only his first but also his only love in life.
