In the world of Italian football, interesting changes have occurred related to the implementation of the new VAR system. Coaches are allowed to contest the referee's decision if they disagree, presenting a video recording of the incident. This innovation was tested during the match between Carpi and Juventus U23 in the third league of Italian football. In this match, Carpi's coach managed to contest the referee's decision regarding the second yellow card for his player, which was overturned after reviewing the video recording. However, after this, the rules were adjusted, and now coaches can no longer appeal against their own team. The VAR system has also been improved at the level of the top division of Italian football, where referees inform their decisions to the spectators in the stadiums, similar to the Premier League.
