According to The Sun: New York Jets player Chris Boyd is currently fighting for his life in the hospital after being shot. According to the New York Post, the defender became a victim of gunfire in Midtown Manhattan and is in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. Eastern Time on Sunday on West 38th Street, near Seventh Avenue.
“The player is in serious condition and requires medical assistance,” witnesses reported.
