Francis Ngannou wants a fight with Wilder: when will the potential bout take place.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou shared his future career plans, revealing that he wants to compete in a boxing bout, with American Deontay Wilder being his main opponent candidate.
'Currently, there have been no personal negotiations with Wilder's team, but we plan to conduct them soon,' Ngannou said.
The athlete emphasized that negotiations for the future bout are already ongoing, and he is in active training shape.
How Ngannou's boxing career is developing
Ngannou's last fight in the PFL in October last year ended with his victory over Renan Ferreira. In boxing, he faced Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, but both bouts resulted in defeats.
'Right now, my main priority is the fight with Deontay Wilder. We plan to discuss all the details soon. This fight is important for me, and I will do everything to make it happen,' Ngannou emphasized.
His team reacted to the proposal to hold the next bout against Oleksandr Usyk, and Itauma himself expressed interest in fights with two other boxing stars.
Francis Ngannou plans to participate in a boxing bout against Deontay Wilder, but the process of agreeing on the details is still ongoing. He is also continuing to keep himself in good shape and actively preparing for upcoming competitions.
