It was previously reported that the German 'RB Leipzig' is interested in the Brazilian midfielder of Donetsk 'Shakhtar', Marlon Gomes. However, there have been insider reports from the German club about the purchase of the 21-year-old Brazilian, whom the 'miners' bought at the beginning of 2024 from 'Vasco da Gama' for around 12 million euros.

According to the source, 'RB Leipzig' has made a request to 'Shakhtar' and received a response that the Ukrainians value the player at 30 million euros.

Representatives of the German club consider the amount too high and are not willing to pay it.

It is noted that no official rejection from the German club has been received yet, but negotiations are ongoing.

Earlier, media reported that 'Shakhtar' had already rejected the first unofficial offer, and Gomes had reached a principled agreement with the German club regarding personal conditions during negotiations. In the 2024/2025 season, Gomes played 34 matches for 'Shakhtar', scored four goals, and provided four assists.
