Scammers attempt to impersonate employees of well-known services or companies and then demand users provide an SMS code to confirm registration, account or activation of a new mobile tariff plan.

This SMS code activates the Viber account on a new device, and the scammer gains control over the user's account

To avoid falling under the influence of scammers and to protect your data, you should follow these recommendations:
