New Pharaohs' Mystery: Tomb of 3600 Years Discovered in Egypt.

Archaeologists from Egypt and the USA have discovered the tomb of an unknown pharaoh in the city of Abydos, Egypt. The tomb is approximately 3600 years old. It is located more than 7 meters deep in the necropolis. Inside, there are several rooms with a ceiling height of nearly 5 meters. The archaeologists are excited about the discovery of the second tomb.

Investigations indicate that this tomb resembles that of King Seneb-Kai, suggesting that the unknown pharaoh may have been one of the earliest members of the Abydos dynasty.

This tomb and the burial place of Seneb-Kai belong to early royal tombs where frescoes have been preserved. Images of the goddess Isis and her sister Nephthys are located near the entrance.

The tomb in Abydos has suffered over time and was looted about 1700 years ago. The text on the papyrus scrolls, which mentions the pharaoh's name, has become illegible. According to archaeologists, the tomb may contain the remains of pharaohs Senaiyb or Pentjeny, who had their monuments in Abydos.

This is the first royal tomb found in Egypt in more than a century. The last royal tomb in Egypt was discovered in 1922 - the site of the last burial of pharaoh Tutankhamun.
