Legion 'Freedom of Russia' captured a Nigerian mercenary.
Fighters of the 'Freedom of Russia' legion successfully captured a foreign mercenary from Nigeria. He was part of the Russian 503rd Guards Motor Rifle Regiment. The legion's assault troops carried out a successful attack and achieved victory by capturing another mercenary along with 'Fyuche'.
According to the captive's testimony, he had a desire to avoid imprisonment, so he accepted the offer to join the Russian army. He also spoke about the involvement of other foreign mercenaries in military operations on the side of Russia in Ukraine, which indicates a widespread practice of recruiting foreign fighters into the conflict.
As a result of the successful operation, two mercenaries of foreign origin were captured, regarding whom necessary checks and actions will be carried out in accordance with international standards and legislation.
