The topic of draft dodgers who do not want to go to war is becoming increasingly relevant for Ukraine. Many of them are trying to illegally leave the country, some even take serious life-threatening risks.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that they will do everything in their power to ensure that draft dodgers have no other chances to escape.

The question before us is how to equip the border so that people cannot pass through it. We, together with our international partners, are doing everything to technically equip all our western borders. These include thermal traps and video cameras that will be installed along the entire border line and will signal any attempt to cross the border.

However, the problem of forged documents and exit permits remains relevant. They allow physical border crossing, but these men do not intend to return.
