Rail Service Launch: Przemyśl to Frankfurt Airport via Major European Hubs
According to Espreso.tv: A newly announced train route will connect Przemyśl, Poland, with Frankfurt Airport, passing through several key European cities. This service is set to strengthen cross-border travel between Eastern and Western Europe. The route includes stops in:
- Krakow
- Ostrava
- Prague
- Dresden
- Leipzig
- Erfurt
One train will operate daily in each direction, offering a convenient link for passengers traveling across the continent.
Train Schedule Details
The eastbound service departs Przemyśl at 1:31 PM and arrives at Frankfurt Airport the following day at 7:53 AM. The return trip leaves Frankfurt at 8:27 AM, reaching Przemyśl at 2:23 AM.
“This new route tears down the iron curtains between Western and Eastern Europe,” said Peter Köhler.
Onboard amenities will include:
- Wi-Fi
- Power outlets for charging devices
- Beverages
- Air conditioning
In December 2025, Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) launched new passenger routes to the EU, expanding its international services from 11 to 17. This initiative aims to improve connectivity and travel convenience for passengers.
