Liam Gallagher confirmed Oasis' return

According to The Sun: The frontman of the band Oasis, Liam Gallagher, confirmed last night that the group will go on tour in 2024.

Before ending the performance with the song Champagne Supernova at Wembley, Liam thanked the fans for their support of the band's return and hinted at new projects.

“I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f**king map. Champagne Supernova. See you next year!”

This announcement caused a wave of thunderous applause in the packed hall and revived hopes among those who could not buy tickets for the concert.

During the triumphant concert, the band paid tribute to the late boxer Ricky Hatton, who died at the age of 46. His photos were displayed on large screens during the performance of the song Live Forever. Earlier in the tour, the band held a similar tribute for footballer Diogo Jota, who died in a car accident in Portugal.

Future plans

In August, The Sun reported that Liam and Noel received an offer to hold four major shows at Knebworth House next year — in honor of the 30th anniversary of their legendary concerts there in 1996.

If the rockers accept this offer, they will surpass the achievements of their former rival Robbie Williams, who performed at this famous venue three times.

There are also rumors about a possible residency at the Etihad Stadium, the home ground of their favorite club, Manchester City.

One insider working with a major promoter claims:

“I could see all of this happening.”

“There is so much on the table but it’s whether Noel and Liam want to do it.”

Friends of the band have previously noted that Noel and Liam did not consider plans for 2026, but it seems their decision has changed.

“They’ll be having a well-earned holiday as soon as this tour finishes later this year,”

explained the insider.

“As for 2026, they’ve seen the speculation, they’ve heard about the offers and they know what the fans want.”

“But it’s ultimately up for them to decide.”

Private investors and festivals, including Coachella in the U.S. and Benicassim in Spain, have also submitted their proposals for discussion with the band.

Brothers Liam and Noel seem to have restored trust and relationships during this successful comeback. Such a return of Oasis generates great interest among fans who are eagerly awaiting new performances from their favorite band.

All these events indicate not only the return of old hits but also the possibility of new projects that may delight fans in the near future. A lot of exciting things are expected from the legendary band, which seems to be back at the peak of popularity.
