According to Novyny.live: As of June 2026, Odesa maintains a partial stability in its essential services, even as residents face the looming threat of higher utility tariffs, water supply costs, and new parking regulations. While the fee for waste collection has not increased, each person’s monthly bill still exceeds 30 hryvnias.
Utility Tariff Breakdown
For apartment buildings, the following rates apply:
- Eco-Renaissance — 35.49 UAH
- TV-Serrus — approximately 34.80 UAH
- Odeskomuntrans — roughly 34.13 UAH
- Clear-City — about 33.99 UAH
Private households face different charges:
- Eco-Renaissance — 61.26 UAH
- TV-Serrus — 60.07 UAH
- Odeskomuntrans — 58.89 UAH
- Clear-City — 58.68 UAH
Electricity for households costs 4.32 UAH per kWh, dropping to 2.16 UAH per kWh during nighttime hours (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Natural gas is priced at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter (supplied by Naftogaz), with delivery adding 1.308 UAH per cubic meter. Water services, covering both supply and drainage, total 35.16 UAH per cubic meter.
A fixed monthly subscription fee for residents comes to 94.38 UAH. For parking, central Odesa charges 30 UAH per hour; a monthly pass costs 2,500 UAH, and an annual pass is 22,800 UAH. Violating parking rules—such as staying on a paid lot for over ten minutes without payment—results in a fine of 600 UAH.
Public transit fares are 15 UAH for trams and trolleybuses, and 20 UAH for city minibuses. Overall, Odesa residents are navigating a landscape of diverse utility fees that could strain their finances amid potential pricing shifts.
