Occupiers force children in Mariupol to produce UAVs for them – National Resistance Center.
The occupiers in Mariupol are forcing Ukrainian children to engage in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the Russian army. This was reported by the National Resistance Center (NRC).
A specialized class was opened at School No. 47, where children are taught to design and manufacture drones. This is part of the Russian "Education" program, which is funded by the Kremlin. Russian textbooks and products from Geoscan and "Prosvetshenie" companies are used.
The National Resistance Center emphasizes that this is not the first Time Russia has used children in occupied territories for military purposes.
This situation indicates the large-scale involvement of civilians and children in military actions by Russia, which is a violation of international norms.
It should be noted that recently there was an agreement on the exchange of thirteen children between Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, 49 civilians and military personnel were freed from Russian captivity.
Ukraine's Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny reported that among the freed fighters are three representatives of Ukrainian sports.
