She hit two aces and converted 4 out of 7 break points, but lost six games on her serve. This match was Oliynikova's debut in Grand Slam tournaments.
On the other hand, Daria Snihur started with a victory in Wimbledon qualifying, defeating Turkish player Berfu Cengiz with a score of 6:3, 6:1. The Ukrainian tennis player spent only 41 minutes on this match, making five breaks and losing only one game on her serve. Daria's next opponent will be determined in the match between Jana Fett from Croatia and Wei Sijia from China.
