Ukrainian athletes are set to compete in three distinct disciplines on the opening day, showcasing their skills on the world stage. The first event will be the men's 10km individual start cross-country skiing race at 12:45. Representing Ukraine will be Oleksandr Lisohor and Dmytro Dragun, both of whom previously competed in the 20km skiathlon, where Lisohor placed 53rd and Dragun 59th.

Following that, the men's 10km biathlon sprint is scheduled for 15:00. The Ukrainian biathlon team will feature Vitalii Mandzyn, Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Anton Dudchenko, and Bohdan Borkovskyi. This event promises to be highly competitive, with intense rivalry expected among the athletes.
