Oschadbank Customers Face Account Freeze If They Don't Update Personal Data by April 2026.
Personal Data Update Mandate for Oschadbank Clients
According to Novyny.live: Starting in April 2026, Oschadbank will require all customers to refresh their personal information in compliance with new regulatory standards. This directive stems from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), which has instructed financial institutions to verify that client data remains current.
Revised Data Update Rules
Under the updated policy, banks may request data updates as often as once per year, but no less frequently than once every five years. Oschadbank clients can submit their information either in person at a branch or through the 'Mobile Oschad' app. However, if passport details have changed, remote updates may not be possible—a key point to consider when preparing for the process.
Failure to comply with the update request could result in account suspension. This underscores the importance of timely data renewal to avoid disruptions in accessing banking services.
It is worth noting that the data update requirement applies to all Oschadbank clients, making it essential to be ready to fulfill this obligation. Keeping information current is a critical step in ensuring the security and accuracy of bank records, as well as maintaining high-quality service for customers.
Updating personal data at banks is a vital component of financial security, aligning with modern regulatory expectations. This process helps institutions reduce fraud risks and prevent misuse of financial services. Oschadbank clients should pay close attention to these changes to avoid potential complications when using banking services in the future.
