Ruben Amorim explained his tactics at Manchester United: what will change.
According to The Sun: Young footballer Patrick Dorgu supports Ruben Amorim's tactics as head coach of 'Manchester United'.
The Portuguese coach again came under fire after his 'Red Devils' secured only one point from a possible six at the start of the season.
His 3-4-3 formation has received some criticism from some - so far club legend Wayne Rooney has stated that they are not playing particularly well with this system.
However, Dorgu, 20, believes the players better understand what is expected of them after going through a full training period with the former coach of 'Sporting Lisbon'.
He believes that the three-defender formation favored by Amorim is flexible and depends on the system against which the team is playing.
"If the midfielders feel they are being marked man-to-man, then they can drop back, take the ball and pass it. You just need to take your position."
Amorim has accumulated only 28 points in 29 Premier League matches since taking charge at 'Old Trafford' in November.
However, Dorgu is a supporter of his management style and emphasis on attacking play.
"In Denmark, I played as a wing-back. Then, when I moved to Lecce, I played as a left-back, and in my last season before moving to 'United', I played more as a winger."
Dorgu appeared at an event to engage with fans in Carrington, where young season ticket holders participated in a skills-enhancement workshop led by coaches from the United Foundation.
The club organized similar opportunities last season to provide their most loyal supporters with an unforgettable experience.
Positive outlook for the 'Manchester United' season
The 'United' training center has just reopened after a £50 million renovation, while over £200 million has been spent on new signings this summer, contributing to a positive atmosphere in the team.
Thus, Dorgu believes that there are still many reasons for positivity, as much of the season is still ahead of us.
"Everyone in this season has something to prove. We need to get back to Europe, so I believe if we are a united group and ready to perform on the pitch."
He emphasizes the importance of the team sticking together, being happy, optimistic, and striving to effectively implement the coach's strategies.
