Paul Scholes explains his departure from television: the reason is his son with autism.
Former Manchester United player on the importance of family
According to The Sun: Paul Scholes shared that he stepped down from his job at TNT Sports to spend more time with his son Aiden, who is a non-verbal autistic.
The former Manchester United footballer is now more actively appearing on The Overlap's Stick to Football this season, replacing Jamie Carragher. Scholes noted that the new responsibilities have been more convenient for him.
“I want to spend more time with my family,” Scholes admitted.
Despite this, he continues to enjoy participating in sports shows, especially with new roles that allow him to stay updated on football events.
Scholes' words highlight the importance of family support for many people, especially in tough times. His departure from a television career in favor of family can serve as an example for those balancing professional life and loved ones.
