PFU explained the conditions for granting subsidies to 60-year-olds without pensions.
The conditions for granting subsidies to persons who have reached the age of 60 but do not have sufficient work history for a pension were explained by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to the Fund's response, a housing subsidy can be granted to a person who has reached the age of 60 and does not have the necessary insurance record of 31 years for an old-age pension. This is possible under the following conditions:
- Having at least 15 years of insurance record.
- Receiving state social assistance for a low-income family for at least one month during the period considered when granting the subsidy.
This assistance is granted by the social protection authorities.
The Fund refers to subparagraph 3, paragraph 14 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.10.1995 No. 848 "On simplifying the procedure for providing subsidies to the population to compensate for the costs of paying for housing and communal services, purchasing liquefied gas, solid and liquid stove household fuel".
The Pension Fund also established new rules for granting subsidies to residents of high-rise buildings.
