Set Vehicles of Military Personnel on Fire: Young People Detained in Odesa.
A group of young people was detained in Odesa for setting over 15 military vehicles on fire. The criminals worked as couriers, using official scooters to move around the city and find military transport. Orders for the arson came from the FSB of Russia through a messenger app. After receiving approval, they set the vehicles on fire and sent videos of the fires to the client, which was a condition for receiving the money.
The criminals became suspects in committing several similar crimes. They received less money than promised by the client and were also subjected to blackmail, with threats to report the correspondence to the police. The police detained all participants and charged them with obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
Earlier, a similar group of criminals who set fire to military vehicles was detained in Lviv. The SBU has sufficient evidence against them.
Also, in Odesa, a man attacked military personnel undergoing rehabilitation after he addressed the employees of the TCC with obscene language. In the Volyn region, a conscript attacked an officer of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center and faces up to five years in prison.
