Sofia Rotaru has become a great-grandmother: the twins of her granddaughter spent 70 days in the hospital.

According to ТСН: The family of the singer Sofia Rotaru expanded at the beginning of October.

The niece of the performer Sonya Kay, whose real name is Sofia Hlyabych, gave birth to twins. As previously reported by Rotaru's sister, Aurika, the two boys were born in Chernivtsi on October 9. However, it later became known that the newborns were not discharged with their parents for a long time.

Prolonged medical supervision

The maternity hospital where the singer Sonya Kay gave birth reported that the star family returned home only after more than two months after the birth of the children. The twins were under close medical supervision due to low weight at premature birth. This was also noted in a message on from the Chernivtsi Regional Perinatal Center, emphasizing that the boys underwent additional care for 70 days.

“The boys were born prematurely with low weight. Behind the neonatal intensive care unit, the post-intensive care unit — there were hundreds of consultations with the best neonatologists in Ukraine, anxious nights, tense exhausting days of intensive treatment and care. Today they first crossed the threshold of home as a family of four,” the message reads.

Additionally, the maternity hospital published the first photos of the parents with the little ones on the internet. The touching images also feature Lydia Rotaru with her husband, other guests, and doctors who supported the family during this difficult time.

It is worth noting that recently actress Olena Kravets showcased her grown twin children. Katya and Vanya, together with their star mother, addressed the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
