EBA supported benefits for the import of energy equipment: what will it change.
According to inkorr.com: The European Business Association (EBA) has expressed support for the bills related to benefits for the import of energy equipment, particularly for wind power plants, which previously were not eligible for tax benefits.
Extension of benefits until 2026
The proposed documents foresee the extension of benefits for the import of energy equipment until 2026 and an expansion of the list of goods. This is of great significance for the restoration of the energy system and the development of the renewable energy sector.
The EBA believes that these changes are critically important for the prompt restoration of electricity generation and energy infrastructure in Ukraine.
The Association has already appealed to the relevant government bodies with a request to support the adoption of new bills.
The expansion of benefits for the import of energy equipment may become an important step towards the energy independence of Ukraine. This will attract investments in the renewable energy sector, which is critically necessary to ensure the stability of the energy system in the future.
