Frosts up to -12 degrees are expected in Ukraine for Christmas: forecasters gave a forecast.

According to ТСН: On Tuesday, the temperature in Ukraine will hover around zero degrees during the day. At the same time, it will be slightly warmer in Transcarpathia and Crimea.

This was reported by forecaster Natalka Didenko.

“Light snow is expected in the west, north, and partially in the center. In the south and east — no precipitation,” she clarified.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, temperatures may drop to -2-9 degrees, and at night in some regions even to -9-12 degrees.

In Kyiv, Wednesday is also expected to be around zero with light snow. On Christmas Eve and Christmas, clearing and frosty cooling are forecasted in the capital.

“With frost, the sun may come, possible clearings,” Didenko added.

Earlier, the forecaster noted that an anticyclone will bring noticeable cooling to Ukraine, and changes in weather conditions are expected as early as the beginning of the new week.
