Russia is waging a cyberwar against Poland

Moscow is focusing its attacks on Warsaw, spying and trying to influence the upcoming presidential elections in Poland. This was reported by Krzysztof Gawkówski, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization of Poland. He claims that Russia is conducting a cyberwar against Poland and warns of possible troubles awaiting the country. A special GRU group was previously discovered preparing for misinformation and sabotage operations.

Gawkówski notes that Russia is trying to interfere in the presidential elections in Poland and is launching attacks specifically on Warsaw compared to other countries in the European Union. At the same Time, Poland is preparing for this by focusing on cybersecurity, forming special groups to combat cybercrime, and cooperating with various security services and police. The State Election Commission is also taking measures to prevent interference.
